This notice has two parts: this website, and the Meridian screening service. The provider is Instateq Information Technology Solutions, a DTI-registered business in the Philippines (“we”). Contact: hello@meridianscreening.com.

Part 1. This website

• This website uses no analytics, trackers or cookies.
• The only personal data we receive through it is what you choose to email us. We use it to reply to you.
• The site remembers your light or dark choice in your own browser only; it is never sent to us.
• Our hosting provider may keep standard server and edge logs for a short time for security purposes.

Part 2. The screening service

Roles

Names and details that clients screen are personal data. The client is the personal information controller. We act as personal information processor for screening data and process it on the client’s instructions. The Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) of the Philippines applies.

Purposes

We process screening data to provide the service: to run screenings, support review, keep the record of decisions, and produce screening certificates. We do not use it for other purposes.

Retention

Audit records are kept as the client’s contract sets.

Security

We use organizational and technical measures to protect data, including access controls by role, encryption of data in transit, and records of who did what. Security issues can be reported as described on the contact page.

Sub-processors

Data subject rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, people have rights over their personal data, including the right to be informed, to access, to object, to correct, to erase or block, and to complain. Because the client is the controller of screening data, please contact the client first. If you contact us, we will pass your request on to the client.
